Wow it is really all coming together... it is absolutely incredible the difference when these walls come down.

I absolutely love all the references to old "forgotten" characters that are popping up back there as well. The Horace one being an example.

Hmmm... 1934 is the year Donald Duck was introduced... maybe that's it?

EDIT: Also Bobo the Elephant (who was a circus elephant) but he's not really big enough I think to have been the motivation.

It could be Donald's first appearance in the Wise Little Hen, as it was released in 1934.
Or something else, I don't know.
