It would be sweet to be the very first person to stay in a new hotel room. No worries about throwing the comforter in the corner, not having to think about wiping down the remote, or wondering what the ice bucket has been used for in the past. :jawdrop: I need to stop watching those news shows on gross hotel rooms!

Yup!!!
However, the rest of the joint doesn't look too shabby. Dig the kitchen, just don't imagine the folks that buy into that location will make great use of it, but who knows?

Yea... I don't go on vacation to cook! Disney has too many good restaurants to not eat at. Plus, it costs as much to make a meal as it does to eat out sometimes.

I can't wait for Poly, I will buy into that one as well. That way it will go with my AKV points...

Any idea what the deal is with the big covered turnaround entrance at the GFV? Is that due to the pool area laying between the GF and the GFV? My only villa experiences have been at the Wilderness Lodge and Boardwalk where both share the same entrance and check-in, front desk et al as the main resort hotel they are associated with. Will the GFV have its own registration desk, bell hop, concierge unique and separate from the GF's main hotel?

It'd be like spending the first night in your brand new home. :)

Random questions, but haven't been able to find an answer anywhere else:

-Is there a place at the actual villas to refill a mug? or even a smallish gift shop?

GFV has its own checkin separate from Grand Floridian. There are no retails shops, lounges or restaurants in the villa wing but there is a covered walkway to the main GF building which has all of that. You can refill your mug 24 hours a day at Gasparilla Grill which is on the far side of the main building.
