Do any of you happen to have any pictures of the sample rooms of AKL Villas? The ones at SSR that they take you to on the DVC tour?

We toured the mock AK villa that is set up at Saratoga Springs when we were there back in April. The pics really don't do it justice, it is...quite... breathtaking.:drevil:

Being a big Lion King fan I especially love the Lion King theming incorporated throughout the room. AKL is our favorite resort and as new DVC members we can't wait to stay in the new AK villas. I hope this helps!

Thanks so much! We looked through the show rooms in April as well and I can't believe I didn't take pictures. We're staying in a 2 bedroom there in December with my in laws. MIL has been pretty sick lately so I thought seeing some pics of the villa would perk her up and get her looking foward to our trip. Thanks again!

Wow. Thats nice. Do you just call them ahead of time to set up a tour or wait until you are there? Do you tour all of them or just ones you are interested in? We are going in August and would like to look at a few. Any info would be great. Thanks

It's the DVC tour. I believe they have kiosks in all the resorts and they definitely have several in each park. They will come get you from where ever you are and take you to SSR for the tour then take you to where ever you want to go afterwards. It takes about an hour (give or take a few minutes). It's a no pressure presentation (that's what I liked about it so much). If you have children they have a little kid's club there with people to watch them, while your there. Afterwards you usually get some "magic fastpasses" and ice cream from the soda shop there.
