That was my guess but not sure given the style is out of the usual Vek style. Then again I feel Vek is the only company that gives them the creative freedom to do what THEY want and not what Vek wants.

Just remember guys once November comes around construction is going to substantially slow down. Once guests are allowed into the new fantasyland area day time construction will halt and anything that is major will have to happen over night. I think the plan is to get the inside track put in by November and then at that point they will begin working on the facade and such at night. Also with every coaster comes lots of testing. With the new ride car they are going to have to test and retest and then the brakes have to be tested and so on and so forth. I would expect maybe the ride will be running in mid 2013 but won't open until it is fully tested and show ready in 2014.

I heard they are going to build construction walls around 7DMT which then connects with the backstage street between Mermaid and Storybook Circusland. Guests will have to walk around 7DMT to get from Circusland to Mermaid, but this will save millions in overtime for nightwork. Construction won't be slowing down.

Even if they get cranes and heavy machinery in and out I don't think they will be doing a lot of day time construction. I guess we'll have to see what happens when it happens.

Why not? They'll have the exact same exit/entry road they've been using for a while, no problem getting stuff in and out. Construction during the daytime is a lot cheaper, safer, and quicker. They've been perfectly happy to construct away while guests mill about on the periphery. A good chunk of the vertical construction has already been done.

I think right now they still are a safe distance away form guests once they are surround by them it might be harder plus I'm sure there will be noise complaints if it is anything super heavy. Like I said we will soon find out. To my knowledge none of us are on the construction team so none of us can be 100% sure of what the plan is.

Not sure where you got your info, but a lot of the vertical construction has been completed. Stuff like rockwork work on the queue and cottage, animatronic installation, even track welding, can easily be done behind walls without too much disturbance for guests. A lot construction projects at Disney parks are done in relative close proximity to guests, and guests in Pooh's queue and the walkway in front are already pretty close to the action, and have been hearing all sorts of construction noise. Plus, a lot of speakers have been installed around BoG, and all sorts of background noise and music will likely be played to coverup any construction noises.

Remember, a lot more people than just the construction crews know about the future plans for finishing the project, in fact, most of those in the know aren't construction workers.

Remember, it would be more dangerous, expensive, and slower to do construction work at night, especially since everything is setup for construction to continue without pause once Mermaid opens.

This construction is being done by outside contractors that must meet budget. I can guarantee you that they WILL be working normal working hours during the remainder of the construction period.

Should be a very quiet lift with those track pieces. That is a good think, especially with what they are trying to pull off in that part of the park.
