I'm a guessing that they wanted to do as little as possible for those buildings - throw on some paint and let it go. It should have still been pretty easy to even paint the fixtures to at least blend in with the rest of the light fixtures.

I don't think so.. they certainly fit the period in question..

On the lights, I actually don't think it is a problem, but even so, it may also not be finished yet.

I still don't get why they are using wooden doors for the sheds. Every time an engine fills up with water, they have to blow off steam to ensure that solid wasted doesn't build up. They do that process right where the double door out building is; the small structure close to the ground with bars on it ducts most of the steam away from guest areas. The wooden doors already look like they're water logged and will need replacing (again) in a few months. Yes, I have taken the Behind the Magic Steam Trains Tour (and loved it!!!).

Absolutely perfect. I am just hoping it did not take urging from others from 'away' to get this done. I am hoping this was a local decision because that would indicate we have our own 'John Lasseter' at WDW. In any case someone deserves huge kudos for this themeing.

And I am almost (almost) having a seizure when I think of what they could do with backstory here. Not that I am obsessed or anything. :lookaroun Really, I swear, not obsessed in the least.... :lookaroun

I would just like to draw attention to the last photo in comparison to the first...

Do you see that pipe that was sticking out? It is now almost completely covered by the plants around it. So all of you complaining about Dumbo's show building should just wait a while for everything to grow in.
