Every rD weekend I've run, I've been a passholder with included Photopass. Now that Disney is going to charge extra for it...the only photos I care about are from rD races - are those INCLUDED with our race registrations or no?
Probably not. It was tied to your AP level. My son-in-law was Gold and I had to download his photos from the 2018 SW half for him.
Guess I have until July 2022 to decide what I'm doing. That'll cover the 21-22 race season LOL
They are not included in race registration, but are included with Memory Maker if you purchase that for your trip [Edit: or if you have Photopass otherwise linked through an annual pass]. Photos are linked by your bib with these instructions from the race guide (Princess Weekend 2020 guide is still up at guide.rundisney.events):

Yep, I’m also Platinum until August 2022 (was Platinum Plus but they took away the ability to renew that already, which also takes away the golf and water park accessUnless you're Platinum AP, like me, and included with your pass.
Yep, I’m also Platinum until August 2022 (was Platinum Plus but they took away the ability to renew that already, which also takes away the golf and water park access). I’m sure that photos will be included with the future AP’s that pay the $99 Photopass upcharge to their passes, but it sounded to me like @DznyGrlSD was asking what it would cost if they didn’t renew their AP anymore and retain that benefit.
So, based on what’s out there now, assuming you did not renew an annual pass with the Photopass upgrade, if you wanted all of your pictures from a race weekend you’d need to select one of the Memory Maker options (currently $69 one day; or $169 for the length of trip if purchased more than 3 days in advance; or $199 for length of vacation purchased less than 3 days in advance). Then you’d need to link your bib for each race you participate in to your account (as I mentioned above) so that race photos show up with your ride photos for the length of stay.I'm gold so I get photopass currently but was weighing my options once July 2022 rolls around.
at that point I might as well cough up the $99/year. I was just wondering my options. Thanks everyone!Photopass does offer a one day pass that you could buy and get your photos with.
