I'm thinking about getting this - my question is I already have Aperture 2 on my Mac, should I just get the plugin or buy the stand alone software?

Not sure about which you should choose, but Photomatix absolutely is awesome! I bought the stand alone and could not be more happy.

I've switched from Photomatix to Dynamic Photo HDR, and prefer it hands down.
