Photography Questions

I was thinking of posting this in the Photo of the Day thread but I didn't want to break up the string of beautiful pictures with my boring questions.

I know there are a lot of great photographers on here so I figured I can get as many opinions and answers as possible.

1. I will be taking my 35mm Fisheye camera with me and it will be the first time traveling with film in a while. Does anyone know whether at the airport you should still have them hand search rather than x-ray my carry on for film. I could also put it in my checked baggage - I won't need it in the evening, it's just a cheap Lomography camera to have some fun with but it's not great for evening shots

2. Does anyone travel with a tripod? If so what kind? I can't imagine me taking my full size, I do have a Gorillapod as well so that may be a better option. I was curious about this after looking at the photo thread since it looks like some HDR photos which I usually use a tripod for and I'm hoping to get some near-infrared shots as well via filter (F&G time should be great for that) which requires a tripod.

3. Is there still film developing on site anywhere? Also is there any other way rather than taking my laptop to backup my photos? I would like to backup each day if possible. I hear Pop has free wifi now so I may take my laptop to keep in touch with home but I'm not sure of I want to carry it.

4. Are there any rides that a medium sized camera pack - one shoulder sling - won't be able to be stored safely on? One of my concerns is Kali River Rapids - I know there is room but I'm still afraid of it getting wet unless I place it in a plastic bag first.

5. Finally...does anyone know what copyright laws are of me using my photos to make a photo calendar or book to give away or donate for auction. One of the charities I'm involved in often donates themed gift baskets and I thought of picking up some Disney souvenirs and making a Disney themed one for them to auction off. Part of me thinks...just do it anyway, who would know or care and part of me pictures police with Mickey ears dragging me off to Disney prison :lookaroun

Thanks for your help. Hopefully I'll get some decent photos that I feel worthy of the Photo of the Day thread when I get home.

I can only answer a few of these:

1. Do not Xray film. Even with the advances in technology they say it will be okay, but don't take that chance.

2. I packed my tripod in my checked baggage for my flight but my camera stayed in my 40lbs backpack (Expedition 7x), I did not let that out of my sight.

3. as for film developing I'm not sure, but to backup your photos, laptop or one of these type of devices http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/706779-REG/Wolverine_7625_PicPac_II_250GB_Digital.html I use those when I do weddings, I take many different SD/CF Cards as well so I never have to worry about over-writing one.

4. Most rides can accommodate sling bags easily, I'd be nervous with Kali and Splash though unless your bag is weather proofed. I've taken that same huge backpack, complete with tripod attached to it on RnR, Everest, Small World, Mansion, etc.

Now this one I do know, and quite well:
5. If you can see it, you can photograph it, unless of course there are signs specifically stating you can't. As far as print, Disney is allowing you onto their private property, which grants you the rights to photograph nearly anything that's not restricted. However, when it comes to making money off those encounters it gets to be a little different. Think of all the items that are sold in the Souvy shops around disney that arent made by disney.....

I brought a Sunpak mini tripod with me this past trip. It is only 5" and you can leave it attached to your camera all day. My cousin gave it to me. You can pick one up for under $10. When I take a solo trip to WDW, I will be packing my normal tripod for sure.
