Photographers!!!

OK, so me and my fiance are getting married at the Disney Wedding Pavilion and doing the reception at the Grand Floridian. We have almost everything figured out, we just need help with choosing a photographer. We are open to anything. People who have gotten married there before, I'd love ur input. Good photographers? Bad photographers? Even open to using a outside of Disney photographer, If they are good. Also, if u have used a Disney photographer, do u get the rights to all ur photos? or Do u have to pay for them individually? and if so, How much is that?Thank you!!!

Highly recommend.

The photographers are essentially guests at your wedding, so they need to be more than just good with a camera. He was very laid back, and captured some great images - so was perfect for us.

They have all kinds of packages, we purchased the CD that contained all the images, as well as an album with around 50 printed. The photography package was a couple of thousand dollars.

If you want to use an outside photographer I have heard Randy Chapman is amazing. If you have facebook check him out. Good Luck.

I'd go with an outside photographer...Disney World isn't know to employ the steadiest hands or most knowledgeable camera people out there...the rule of 1/3s is non-existent to them and while the photo CDs are great you will end up cropping over 50% of them to make them look normal. I dunno, maybe I have higher photo standards, but I was never happy with any of my 3 photocd trips...

Personally ditch the on site ones. Too few and far between good ones. But I am very picky as I photograph for a living. We used KMD creations for our family shoot at the poly and Todd and Kristen are amazing. There is a reason they win awards....it's definitely deserved and they are now Disney approved also. Should my OH ever get off his backside and send us down the isle ill be using them and I'm in the UK

My personal opinion but Randy is very over rated. But that's my personal opinion. I don't like the over photoshopped style he uses

I have to ask...you being from the UK...why would you have experiences with multiple photographers in the Orlando area?

When I was looking for one I did an insane amount of research as i'm very particular. Friends of mine used Randy so I got to see the full shoot etc rather than just the blog photos. Also looked at Mindy before finally going with KMD. Won't use anyone but KMD now. We had a fab experience I'm fussy though, took me months and months to find someone I was happy with for my first wedding, least if I do it again the work has been done because it will be over there

We're not using a local photographer, but if I were, I would have wanted either Misty Miotto or Root Photography based on style. (The latter are not Orlando-based anymore, but they still do TONS of Orlando weddings.)

We like Cricket and Amy as Disney photographers but still kinda think the work of the outside photography is better and obviously cheaper. I'll look into both Randy Chapman and KMD creations. We have looked at Misty Miotto and we liked her.

I didn't know you were married at Disney World. Are there photos anywhere on the website?

Same here....not that its bad, just not my preference.
