photo with screen name

i tried to upload photo to go with my screen name for any posts i reply to but i get the message "upload failed". i just registered to this board the pic is 106 x 106 in size. thanks for any help.

Is it a jpeg? Are you using the "edit avatar" feature under user cp?

Did you check the file size as well? There are two criteria and it has to meet the smaller of them:

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 160 by 120 pixels or 39.1 KB (whichever is smaller).
