Last I heard the Tangled area would just be restrooms, and a pathway. Now it's being reported all over that it'll have a M&G... Can anyone actually confirm this?

It's always been speculated that it would have a M&G. People tend to go back and forth on that one. The main issue is that there doesn't seem to be a space for it. But considering they demolished Repunzel's old spot and it was quite popular, I'd be willing to bet they will squeeze her in this area. Adventureland is becoming entirely too crowded with characters at the moments and I don't think Tangled M&G will last there much longer. The only other option would be to put her in the new Princess Fairy Tail Hall. There are also issues with that theory...for instance, it's still way over a year until it opens. Close to 2. Way too long to wait for Tangled to be relocated. Also, it will only hold 3 M&G's. Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and PatF. So there won't be room for her there either. So, perhaps they will have to squeeze her into this newer area. That really seems to be the only option.

But what I can't figure out is what will replace the Princess area in Town Hall when the new M&G opens...

There was a discussion about this here recently and the feeling was that there was not going to be a formal M&G in that location, but that it would be themed to Tangled, and Rapunzel will eventually meet in Princess Hall.

Thats what I think. I can confirm that Rapunzel is going there and that the area will be HEAVILY and very well themed, but I can't tell if the meet and greet will go there. It doesn't say anything about a meet and greet and it doesn't look like there's any room for one. I'm betting she ends up at fairytale hall.

Did he ever stop stealing photos from other blogs? M&G has always been an unsubstantiated rumor and Rapunzel was previously announced for Fairy tale hall. Given her popularity and recent move to TST, a large indoor location where the wonders of Disney magic can add capacity is almost certain...

It would also be really cheap if they did it that way, the tower isn't THAT tall, so why not make a full size replication?

It could be but it seems to be a little to close to the guest areas for the forced perspective to work.

yeah now the I look at the photo again, that red tower is the same height as IaSW building on the right edge of the photo, they're probably just going to extend that Castle facade across to hide the HM show building

That would require a lot more structural steel than what has been erected. It is definitely for an architectural element of the building.

Well it's a mystery no doubt, but I just get the feeling if they were planning on doing something specifically themed to "Tangled" there would have been some concept art or word about it by now.

The blue prints show restrooms, a walk way, and space for stroller parking, strictly utilitarian stuff. I'm starting to think this area is going to be like the Caribbean Plaza remodel, lots a of pretty new building facades to house the new restrooms, not bad at all, but it's also not the sort of thing you'd hold a press conference to announce.

Nope. The tower is going a lot closer to mansion. Behind the restrooms.

if thats the case, wouldnt they be worred about seeing the Rupenzel Tower from the Que lines at Haunted Mansion, wouldnt it take away from the erieness of the mansion itself. then again, depending on the trees and sight lines.

If that's the Tangled tower it's at the back wall of the restroom, maybe it's another forced perspective miniature?

My guess is that it's a chimney structure...I'm thinking they will keep the roofline similar to those by Gaston's...in which a pitched roof would swallow alot of that up, so while you see 4 sections on that pillar, only about 1.5 would be visible.
