Photo pass do you buy it.

I have been to Disney three times in the past three years and bought the cd all three times. This year looking at the price of 179 dollars is it still worth getting the same picture in front of the castle each year and mostly the same m&g. Do you it buy each visit if you even do.

I never buy it my dh is great witha camera! We've gone home looked at the pics and never found them worth the money!

I think that it depends on if you are going to the character dinners in which you would get the photo packages, if you will ride the rides in which you can get the free photos, & if you are looking to get alot of Magic Shots. If none of those concern you then I wouldn't spend the extra money.

I have all the ones I think I need I still do it and think it is a great idea but is it a every trip kinda thing. I am not sure anymore

We never purchase them. Now that all 3 of my teenagers have iphones... we do not miss a beat. I guess if it was a first visit or if I was still pushing a stroller I may feel differently. I also think about what other cool stuff I could do with that 179...

We always get so many good pics so I never buy the cd, but I did go online once home and bought a few of the photos because they had a few that were great shots. I always carry a camera though, if you don't carry a camera the cd is worth it.

Meal at a signature, or 20 cool coffee mugs, or 65 magnets or you get the picture!

great point I could by so much stuff with that money. I think it is a great service but me and my wife have iPhones too and the pictures almost look the same. I have some great photos over the years threw them but it is like I am just getting doubles now with us in different clothes.

My family bought one last trip and loved it. We got all the on ride photos and we did 3 meals that included photo packages. so we got all those for "free". If we added up all the money we would have spent on them it added up to about the cost of the PhotoPass+ package.

I find their photo work to be subpar and disappointing.

I'd much rather hand my camera to a CM or someone, probably get a better picture anyways.

Have done it in the past as a back-up in case my own camera failed me... but after the last disk with crooked horizons, cut off feet, cut off arms and even cut off tops of heads... well frankly it just isn't worth it... better to use the money and buy another point and shoot than support poor photographers at Disney.

iphones do not replace cameras... but yes, 179 is steep for what you ultimately end up getting

I find their prices insane... the CD is the ultimate upsell.

That said, I did buy two 8x10 photo frames from my last visit last week because they had a BOGO offer on them. $30 for two 8x10 frames with everything integrated isn't too crazy. Especially when you consider the price to download ONE photo was $10 or $15... instead I got 5-6 photos each in a very nice display for the same price.
