Photo Opportunity With The Beast

Well, I've searched the forums and looked thru about 100 pages of topics but couldn't find any help.

The only place that the Beast appears is in the Be Our Guest Restaurant around dinner time, without dinner reservations, is it possible to get a picture with him ?

This is the only picture my wife is looking forward to getting while we are there, we leave in 4 days.

I wouldn't think so. The restaurant is so highly coveted as it is. If they start letting people in for photo opps, it would just create more traffic and turn into another Meet & Greet mess.

I only ask because last time we were at WDW, we happen to venture by The Garden Grill, and seeing chip and dale in there, the front desk hostess offered to let us come in and get some pictures with them, without a reservation.

He still appears with Belle in Epcot but it is random. The best way is to ask at the front desk if you are staying at a resort or Guest Relations. They will find out for you. CMs can also find out but are normally limited to their park.

Absolutely not allowed. Can't even get in the restaurant without a reservation.

I don't believe so, maybe during the cooler months of the year. I believe he stays in his Castle except for parades, I imagine that costume is quite hot in the summer. I would check with @kennygman, his KennythePirate site is usually very accurate about the characters.

When we ate at "Be Our Guest" last year, the Beast will come out and tour the dining areas and wave. He will then retire to his study area (the Counter Service ordering area) where you can take pictures with him after your dinner. He just won't take pictures at the tables.

Yeh, we managed to get a FP+ invite for lunch, but there was no way I could even find an open spot for dinner.

Sorry to hear that But never fear! I personally found the lunch menu to be very good for 'quick service' and get the choice to enjoy whichever dining room you please. Have a great time!

You may want to try a walk up dinner reservation. I was there in March during one of the cheer competitions. To my surprise 2 different parties were able to get a walk up reservations on 2 separate days. They just got there around 4pm opening to check availability. I could not believe it and neither could they. I can only figure it had to do with the cancellation policy implemented in October.

From everything I've read, the Beast no longer appears in Epcot since Be Our Guest opened so this might be your only shot. Good Luck!
