The Photo Albums can now display EXIF information for any new photos that are uploaded. most digital cameras support Exif by standard.

Exchangeable image file format (Exif) is a specification for the image file format used by digital cameras. The specification uses existing file formats such as JPEG, TIFF, with the addition of specific metadata tags.

The metadata tags defined in the Exif standard include:
  • Date and time information. Digital cameras will record the current date and time and save this in the metadata.
  • Camera settings. This includes static information such as the camera model and make, and information that varies with each image such as orientation, aperture, shutter speed, focal length, metering mode, and film speed information.

I'm having a problem with the photo albums. I've tried to login to upload two photos but I can't upload. I login, it says login successful, then when it goes to the screen after the login, it still has login in the corner with no mention of upload. Why does it do that?

Logout of the forum first, using Log OUt in the top right corner. Then give the photoalbums a go.

Tried all those steps but there is no change in the symptom. I'm a Mac user and tried this with both Safari and Firefox with identical symptoms.

Everything goes along like I expect it to, but as soon as it finishes I'm back where I started unable to do anything with my Photo Album.

COuld you repeat the clearing process and try again, I have made a few changes this end. Thanks.

I tried it again with no discernable change in the symptom from my side. Right now it just keeps toggling back and forth between a set of 5 cookies and a set of 3. As I check all in the set and click the delete button, I'm presented with the alternate set in a continuing loop.

I can log into the forums just fine (although this exercise keeps knocking me out) but not at all into the photo albums.

EDIT: Just did a clear cache on the browser and it seems to work now.

Is it all working as it should now? thanks
