I saw this note from Al Lutz on the front page of Miceage late Wednesday afternoon on my iPhone as I was waiting in line at the supermarket, but I hadn't heard of this new offering and thought I'd throw it out here to the gang in SoCal.

Editor's Note 7/6: Disneyland's Entertainment Department has dress rehearsals this week for a new mobile show on DCA's dormant parade route; Phineas & Ferb's Rockin' Rollin' Dance Party, opening this Saturday. Meanwhile, WDI has returned to the Paradise Garden complex to install more accesories and wire the hundreds of additional lights onto the buildings they didn't complete before the holiday. Once the electricians are gone later this week, the Custodial team will arrive to powerwash and clean the buildings and trees that are all still covered in construction dust. They got Paradise Garden open by the skin of their teeth last Friday! - Al Lutz

Phineas & Ferb's Rockin' Rollin' Dance Party?!? Where the heck did that come from?

Whatever it is, it starts this Saturday, and it should be interesting to see what exactly it is. For those not in SoCal, the DCA parade route has now been cut in half, blocked off by construction on Buena Vista Street and the Carthay Circle Theater.

My hunch is that this "thing" steps off from the parade gates in Paradise Pier, and then rolls along the pier and past the Little Mermaid ride and sets up shop near Pacific Wharf, near the Cars 2 Pavilion and the Cars Land construction site. And then when it's done, it reverses direction and goes back where it came from.

I wonder what this thing will be? And I'm going to assume that Phineas & Ferb is something popular with the kids, and not really aimed at my, ahem, tenured demographic?
