If you pay attention to the video and the characters. Notice none of them leave the middle screen. I'm 99 % sure this is for the best 3D effect.

The left and right screens are not 3D. I think they are just there for peripheral vision.

I haven't seen this show yet (June 6-12!!!) but you are correct in your assumption.

To get the best 3D effects, the subject needs to be in good focus, so they need to keep them in the middle of the screen. It takes 2 projectors to create 3D videos - and they need all the objects to be in best focus possible.

If you look to the back sides of the theater, you will notice it takes two projectors to make both sides show up. So I do think they are ' 3-D as well ' :)

If you take your 3D glasses off you will see that they are 2D.

Of course, everything is 2D on a screen without the special glasses  Silly, hehehe

I guess i'll pay attention in June when I'm there, and get to see it for the first time!

There is one projector for the right screen (mono), two projectors for the center screen (stereo, i.e. 3d) and one projector for the left screen (mono). A total of four projectors.

Therefore, only the center screen has 3d.

THANK YOU!!! Now, people, was that so hard to explain? I think not :animwink:

They Never Leave The Center Anyway On Any 3-D Show 'Cause Of 3-D Rules.. Imagine This, A Rubber Ball It 'Thrown' At You On Screen, Now, There Is A Limit Of How 'Far' The Ball Goes To You.. The Ball Cannot Go Full Face Into You Because Of The Square Screen.. If The Ball Goes Further, You'd See A Square Image That's Up To Your Nose.. Which Is Just Unreal.. So They Need To Be Careful About How Images Move On And Off Screen..

And To Help The 2-D Screens Part, DO NOT Take Off Your Glasses.. Look At The Screens.. There's Nothing In '3-D'. If You Take Off Your Glasses, There Is No Blur Like On The Middle Screen.. And Like Woody Said, There Is Only 4 Projectors..
