What kind and how big are the subwoofers? I know they have to be huge because it shakes the hole floor.

I only got to experience the Philharmagic once on our June 04 trip, so I'm having trouble recalling the effects. I'm sure the sound system is enormous, and I know it was balanced well because of the surround effects in the pre-show mainly. As for the floor shaking, it could have shakers or some other device under the seating, similar to Honey I Shrunk the Audience. Of course in HISTA it's obvious the the seating floor is actually a platform - I didn't see a joint in the Phil floor.

Yes they did at one time. I honestly don't know if that "Home Theater" equipment demo is still there.
