Phantom Manor - Hitchhiking Ghosts?

I was in DLP on the 9/20, and I made sure Phantom Manor was my first ride. When we got to the end, there were a bunch of mirrors where, presumably, the hitchhiking ghosts should have appeared. But instead, I just saw my self Is this normal? Or does the effect typically work?

The effect is broken, but there are no hitchhiking ghosts in it. Instead, the Phantom is supposed to be reaching out at you from behind your vehicle, before falling back at the end. @marni1971 can probably give more detail as I've only seen the concept art for it.

My hope is that this effect will be fixed during the November rehab.

I was there May 2013 and it wasn't working then. It's been broken for a long time, unfortunately.
