Since my Tinker Bell couldn't get off work Peter Pan decided to do a solo trip last week. I was there for 6 days and did two MNSSHP events, plus the other 3 parks. I took a rest day and discovered that Peter Pan doesn't need pixie dust to fly.
I enjoyed it, although it just wasn't the same without my Tinker Bell. I did get a lot of compliments about my outfit and it got me free Lightning Lane access several times on the Peter Pan ride.
In Epcot, I was happy to learn that the VIP Lounge still exists over Test Track since the remodel. I have GM connections and I was able to get access to that once again. I'd left a subtle hint on the forum a few weeks earlier that an individual or family could go with me up there and I said what day I would be at Epcot but no one took me up on the offer. Maybe next time. Hint: I'll be returning in late November. I did walk over 21,000 steps that day, according to my wristband fitness tracker. That's around 10.5 miles.
I learned that the giant golf ball was closed for refurbishment (I don't read every thread on here, sorry) and the cast member said he didn't know how many weeks or months it would be down. Hopefully, it'll be back up by Thanksgiving when I return.
I only made reservations in two Disney area restaurants - Prime Time Cafe and Bourbon Steak, which replaced Shula's. Prime Time is a tradition that I like to have at least one meal while visiting WDW and Shula's used to be another. The bland taste of my steak at Bourbon didn't impress me and so I might scratch that one from my tradition list, especially since my meal was over $100 with tax and gratuity.
In HS, I did all the rides except Rock 'n Roller Coaster and Alien Swirling Saucers. Peter Pan gets motion sickness easily in his later years - imagine that. For ROTR, I didn't know they had a single rider line but I discovered it as I was exiting the attraction and I immediately got in that line. I personally would not recommend the single rider. You start out in the big room where all the Storm Troopers are lined up and you miss about one-third of the experience - the briefing, the shuttle flight and the ship getting captured. I would much rather wait in the longer standby line.
Anyway...
And, as I said, Peter Pan can fly without pixie dust:
