I was able to bring my 10 month baby on this attraction in his carry-car seat - it fit perfectly on the floor and safe between me and my daughter - yea!

Not sure if it's just me, but I rarely see any flashes going off during the ride. Maybe I'm just lucky and don't get to ride at the same time as rude guests!
I dunno...we go to MK like once a week now even if it's just for dinner, but we'll usually catch one or two rides...I used to think Small World was the worst, but my observations from the past month is apparently no one wants to go on it anymore so they now flood Pan and Little Mermaid with their flashes and tell you you're the a-hole when you kindly ask them to stop using the flash...if their eyes are good under those conditions then apparently mine aren't suppose to be affected either...and rules? well you have no idea how many times I've been told "I have kids, the rules don't apply to me..." when I've quietly pointed out it's a park policy to not use your flash on dark rides...

The flashes on Mermaid were INSANE when we went on in May. It was like a celebrity was walking by a mob of papparazzi or something. My cousins SCREAMED at some girl to stop taking flash photos when w got stopped. she ignored him and kept right on taking pictures. I don't know why they are not more strict with this. There are cameras on every ride, they can see who the culprits are.

And like pan the mermaid constantly puts you parallel from the people across from you once you reach the under the sea room so you're in their direct shot...I'd have to agree with you that they should enforce it; people seem to forget how much it ruins the dark ride experience, and my eyes of course...

I took a flash photo of a skeleton on PotC in the 70s. A voice suddenly said "Please, no flash photography on the ride" so I didn't take any more!

you can't ride with child in carrier. these people had a generous/sympathetic CM. glad for them, but not policy. i have noticed that it depends on the CM how strictly the rules are enforced. there have been times when we tried to take a baby sleeping in a chest harness with us and were told we must wake him and turn him around to face forward as this is the official policy and other times the CM lets it go. this is not just at Peter Pan, but many rides. they never bother you at shows, just moving vehicle rides
