I hope this hasnt been asked before. But on the ride when you go over the miniature city, How do the little cars headlights and tailights go by on the streets? Thankyou in advance for anyone that knows.

If you watch a set of lights as they move...they are on a belt, like one at the airport that goes around, and then loops under the floor and comes back up again. Watch it next time, If we go on it, I MAY try to zoom in on it so you can see it.

It's actually lights affixed to a bicycle chain that wraps around. I read that somewhere, but not exactly sure where. I'll see if I can cite it, but doubt if I'll remember.

 You mean those aren't real??? Great, just destroy the magic for me (and I thought pixie dust was real)

:D They are probably either little LED lights on a belt or chain driven assembly. Or black light paint dots on a belt...

It's done by glueing LED lights to thoes HUGE Fla cockroaches and letting them run on a little track.

I second this one. They're blacklight/glow-in-the-dark dots on a bike chain. Page 448 of the 2005 Unofficial Guide.

Pretty sure these are flexible black painted reinforced rubberized / fabric belts about 2"-3" wide and 6 - 8 feet long with flourescent painted dots for headlights and taillights.
