Any truth to the rumor that Peter Pan and its neighbor, the Columbia Harbour House, will be closing to make room for an E-Ticket ride?

No. Pan is a classic attraction, and well attended. There is plenty of other places to put an attraction instead of replacing a popular one.

It's so popular, there is no way it could be going anywhere. I actually had to get a fastpass (something I've never done for this attraction) for it in April because it had constant 80 minute waits for a majority of the day.

I agree with you..but never say never....Mr. Toad is a case in point.

Perhaps Snow White can close instead (one could only hope..lol)

Mr Toad was nowhere was popular as any other Fantasyland attraction, as well as not having the same links to the Disney classics. It was the logical choice to be replaced.

The Peter Pan building just underwent a major refurb, may still be in the process, I'm not sure. Its not going anywhere anytime soon.

When I did the backstage tour they said eventurally, they would like to take out autotopia, And everything from Toon Town and going into 20,000 leagues and make a whole new land....that was the tour guide who said that but I don't know if it will ever happen, I do know however, unless they moved Pan to another area, they couldn't ever get rid of that!!!!!

where did this rumor even come from? LOL...Peter Pan will be removed around the time the Haunted Mansion closes up shop.

You sure you weren't at Disneyland on that tour? I'd be interested to see Autopia removed from Disney World and Toontown expanded...

I'm with you......A trip to MK is not complete w/o a stop in at CHH....That and Dole Whips are my disney thing!!!!!!:slurp:

yep, my family's top 3 musts for food at WDW are
1- Dole Whips
2- Columbia Harbor House (dad still misses the bread bowl clam chowder)
3- Casey's hot dogs

everyone else has their individual musts (for dad and brother it is turkey legs, ick!) but these are 3 that everyone can agree on!

to stay on topic, my family, however, rarely does Peter Pan. No small kids and sorry, it just isn't worth waiting in line for 70 minutes. The line always baffles me, because isn't it constantly moving? the capacity must be small, yikes.

Actually, one of the biggest causes of delays for the standby line is the fastpass line. Pan is one of the few attractions that I see that really makes sure that the Fastpass people do not wait.

Yeah...Peter Pan is a classic...I still love it and it never gets old... The dark ride they REALLY need to kill is Snow White's Scarey Aventure...it's both terrible and frightening to young children... We never ever go on it...
