Ok,, I recently got married and WOW I HAD MONEY TO SPEND! So we did dinner nearly every night! I figured I'd give some tips.
first of all, if you're married, buy Honeymoon pins to wear, because they work! We got seated with NO wait at Mexico where there was a 30 minute wait and we got seated at the water! Also we got our food before the people beside of us did who were ordered before we even sat down. We also got a complimentary desert.
Now, i was determined to eat at Cindarella's Royal Table. I wanted to so badly. Unless you're determined like me, skip this one. it's not worth the money and you'd think it's much neater than it is. The ceiling structure is cool but other than that, the food is high priced and average at best.
We then went to Epcot's Garden Grill. I loved it! the restaurant turns slowly overlooking "The Land" ride. Mickey, Pluto and Chip and Dale were also there. I loved the food but my wife was miserable. She hated it! My wife is one of those "classy eaters" who wants "nice" food. She is from SW Florida (where I live now), but, Im from North Carolina and love southern food. if you like southern food, this is where to go.
There is no choice of what to order, BUT, it is ALL YOU CAN EAT. It's like a Sampler plate thatyou can have all you want. Prime Rib Mashed Potatoes, Fresh baked break with Pumpkin seeds on it, Catfish and stuffind, Im sure im missing some.
It was great and I kept eating and eating! You even get all you can eat Strawberry shortcake for desert.
We timed the turn of the restaurant and one turn per hour. It' svery very slow andyou can hardly tell you're moving.
It's nice,
HOWEVER, our favorite place was Mexico. gREAT ATMOSPHERE AND GREAT FOOD, but have a bathroom handy! It's mexican food at it's best!
