PERMITS

I was thinking they meant that Mulholland Madness (Goofy Sky School) was created in error, so this was a permit to void it out.

Who needs the Lion King Celebration this summer...

The Summer 2019 event coming to DCA.

Help improve DCA by demolishing Goofy's Sky School, participation packages start in the hundreds of dollars for using a sledge hammer, to thousands for using a bulldozer. All packages come with a discounted photo experience of your participation. (Due to safety reasons, CGI will be used for the digital photos).

I have another thought...

That DCA will get a Super VOID to outdo the Downtown Disney version.

But this time, to give the best experience, they will use the Mulholland Madness/Goofy's Sky School track. First, all cars/trains will be removed, along with any mechanical systems. "Safety" Walls that are padded will be placed along the track.

When you reach the loading platform, you will be handed a blindfold, and pointed in the right direction towards the lift hill. You will then have to find your way back to the unload platform. Objects and sounds will be your quest to find along the way. And also for safety reasons, your blindfold will be zip tied to your head to insure the optimal experience.

Exits along the way will be made available along the route for $66 per person.

I wonder if this is why it is taking so long to open this restaurant? I wonder if this is replacing an existing one that they thought they could use, or if this is replacement of a new one that was installed and failed?

Going over the Planning Commission Agenda for February 20th, and noticed another 7-11 proposed on Katella, just east of the I-5 on Lewis Street, next to the Fritz Strip Club.

So, fellow old one--do you remember back in the '60s when Fritz's was a nightclub or restaurant with live entertainment called El Fortin Bandido? It was a favorite of my parents. I think I got to go one time before it closed.

I never went there, but I went to the subsequent place (that had another whimsical name I can't recall). They had a large scale and the kid's meals price was based on the child's weight.

OMG!!! I never thought to look for this. I've discovered some wonderful postcard images online and have even purchased a couple. My nephew has a popular Googie architecture site and there are many postcard images.

Thank you! That's really wonderful.

Does anyone know if all 7-11s have those frozen, various flavored, milk shakes that the mixing machine makes for you while you stand there? We found them in Hawaii and wondered. We haven’t been brave enough to go into 7-11 locally and check though.
slurpee machines? i think so
