I wish they'd at least paint the exterior back to blue like it was originally.

I agree. The aspect of Epcot's evolution that I dislike the most is Future World's aesthetic change from minimalistic and serene to bright, multi-colored, etc. I don't understand what they're thinking - especially because they're properly making the opposite kinds of changes to Discovery Island at AK and pretty much all of DCA, to universal praise.

I can't BELIEVE all the people voting for the original Dreamfinder version. The current version is far superior.
Now there is a comment worth ignoring... so I will. All I can say about the color scheme is... what difference does it make. The last thing that is a problem at Epcot is the Color of the buildings. It's what's inside some of them, especially, Imagination that is problematic. Talk about a great pavilion that has died an unhappy death... Imagination would be the poster child.

I'd be quite happy just to have the original back for a change, the current ride is an abomination as far as i'm concerned. Imagination 1.0 was at least one Future World attraction that never needed to leave or be majorly altered. I'm an avid defender of Horizons and World of Motion along with the other classics we lost, but at the very least they did need updating (mind you they definitely should have been updated instead of being replaced outright with the inferior rides currently there). Imagination on the other hand was a timeless classic and would have aged like fine wine (provided it was kept in proper shape anyways). The biggest improvements that would have been prudent (besides fixing the underlying issues with the old turntable that used to cause the ride grief) would be rather basic 21st century plussing such as better projection effects (digitally mapped surfaces), newer and better animatronic tech and lighting improvements. Obviously there are always things you could do to plus the ride in more major ways, but in general i'd have been (and still would be) happy with the original ride intact.

And before anyone derails this topic with a flamewar, I suspect the guy above is a troll based on his posting history...
