I just had my phone interview this morning.

How long is the wait till you get your information in the post, she just told me at the end that the main interviews with the Disney Recruiters will be held early March, and she’ll get back to me with the information.

Does this info get sent out soon, or do you have to wait a few weeks or what ?

The suspense is gonna kill me, lol.

I recieved my info about 1 or 2 weeks before the interview was held... Dont worry though... There's not a whole lot of time until early March!

Good luck with your interview, though! Maybe I'll see you out in Orlando this summer!

OK guys - I need answers !!!!

My 16yr old daughter loves Disney (who doesn't) and has expressed a desire to do a year at WDW. She has just started her A level courses at her schools 6th Form college.

How did you / does she go about applying ??

college program

well I'm from the US so I have no clue what "A level courses at her schools 6th Form college" means.... but if she's 16 then she's got about two more years to look into it- when I first became interested in the program, I of course started on the official website,(http://www.wdwcollegeprogram.com) then moved on from there- the internet is AMAZING! I was able to find numerous web pages that former CP's had put together after they did the program. I found pictures, facts, pro's and con's, opinions, reccomendations, everything I could possibly want. Plus, many of them post instant messenger screen names in case you want to ask them specific questions. I found that the most reliable way to get my questions answered was to talk to numerous different people who had already done it! It would also be helpful to try to find someone who either goes to or went to your daughter's school when they did the CP. I found some people from my school, and they were able to answer questions specific to my school (such as how willing are they to work with your schedule, defer your scholarship, help with transferring credits, etc.). Lastly, this message board seems to be filled with lots of people who are more than willing to help you out! I hope this helps some!!

Hey there! Well, first things first... The year long program is called the Cultural Representative Program. Your daughter would be working somewhere in the UK pavilion. However, from this year, there's also a new International Program called the J-1 Academic Program (or something similar) which allows college students (probably 3/4 year programs only, I'd guess) to do an exchange with a college in the US (technically). Here, you'd be working at WDW (not in the UK Epcot pavilion-could be anywhere) and doing a course with a US college-which could be either distance learning or attending a course in a Florida college.

Anyhoo, if you want more info, you can find lots at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WDWIP (the International Program page on Wikipedia)
http://www.disney.go.com/DisneyCareers/wdwcareers/international/index.html (the official Disney page on the International Programs
and
http://www.yummyjobs.com (Yummy Jobs is the company that your daughter would apply to)

Finally, your daughter would have to be over 18 years of age.

Either way, good luck to her if she eventually decides to go for it!

Woo Hoo.

I got my Email, my final interview with the Disney Recruiters is on the 13th March :D

What kind of questions do they ask you in the face to face interview ?

Oh yeah, with the CP it depends on when you go over. For example I'm just going over for the summer vacation (If i pass the interview), so I wont be doing any College stuff.

If you go over during a College Semester though, Winter/Fall ect... then you do part of your course over there as well, I think.
