We are coming down next week for the Food and Wine Festival and I was wondering if anyone has ben over to try out the offerings from "Pearville." It sounds like a interesting addition to the festival.

they have little tidbits about different kinds of pears and they have people walking around sharing information and talking to you about pears. There is a kiosk where you can buy a pear of course. My girlfriend and I spent 5-10 minutes in the area talking to the representatives that worked the stand (and got our picture taken with the shrub pear that was there). As far as location its by the gift shop at the American pavilion.

Are there any tastings that involve pears? Maybe a Northwest pinot gris to go along with them?
