Paying for your hotel

I booked 2 nights at All Star Movies and this was the invoice:

Total Order Price$363.20
Deposit $181.60
Balance Due $181.60 USD (Due on July 17, 2017)

So I understand that the other half of the payment will be made upon check-in (on July 17), right? My issue is, can I pay that $181.60 cash or will it be automatically discounted on the same credit card I used for the reservation?

You can pay cash im fairly certain but they will want to keep the CC on file for incidentals.

You can pay cash but make sure you don't do online check in with a credit card because the will charge the room to the card the morning of your arrival.

Depending on your arrival time, if you check in on-line, you may receive your room info via text or email allowing you to skip the front desk all together.

Which never happens for me so I don't even know why I even bother with online check-in. It's just a habit now.
