On Tuesday Nov 30th, my wife (31 weeks pregnant), my daughter (nearly 3yo), and I visited the Animal Kindom Lodge Jambo House for dinner at Boma.
Stuffed silly, worn out from a long day walking around, and ready to head back to our room at the All Star Movies resort right around 7:45pm in the evening, we headed out to the bus stop area and saw a bus for DHS parked, with the bus driver Patrick outside of his bus helping another guest.
We stopped and patiently waited to speak to him to find out his suggestion for what may be the best / quickest way back to our hotel, seeing as the DHS closed at 7:00pm and only other bus at the stop was a packed bus for DTD (which can be deadly slow on resort busses in the evenings. We were expecting to have to hit up one of the open parks (MK, Epcot) or suck up the DTD bus, either option most likely adding an hour travel time to our night.
He thought about it for a second and said "I'm actually on my last run, I need to have my bus back to the depot by 8:00pm, but I'll run you guys directly over to your hotel for you."
With that, he did just that, door to door service on a Disney Bus for my 2 tired girls and I. We could not have been happier and more thankful for his help here, turning what could have been a long night into a nice restful one back at our resort.
