hi we have a reservation for beaches and cream soda shop whilst we are at hollywood studios is the path easy to find and where does it start

I think it's easy to find. When you exit HS go toward the water, the walk way follows the water on the BW side. There is a bridge you cross over near YC.

after looking up the abbreviations( really new to this) this was very helpful cant wait to have the kitchen sink

The walkway to the Boardwalk/Yacht/Beach Club is near the theme park bus stops at Hollywood Studios. It does follow the water (or you could take a boat to the Beach Club from Hollywood). Once at the Beach Club, the Beaches and Cream restaurant is behind their pool.

If you are not up to the walk you can also take the Friendship boats from DHS to the Yacht/Beach Club. You can see little blue squares in the image below that show where the boat stops are.
