Okay, thanks to everyone for the responses. I changed the tech- terrorists to techno blackmailers, so no unpleasant connotations. Now they just want money. Anyway, here's the final land of the park. This one is themed to adventure and danger from the past, and is probably the most disney- like land in the park. The area is themed like a lush jungle. There are 3 attractions here, all rides. The land is anchored by 3 giant buildings, each housing an attraction. They are: Nine worlds: the Journey to Valhallah, Indiana Jones and the Hunt for Quetzelcoatl, and The Time Machine
NINE WORLDS:THE JOURNEY TO VALHALLAH:
A few months ago, someone on this board posted what may be the most brilliant attraction idea I have ever seen. It was aviking-themed CTX ride through a giant mystical tree. I kept this ride essentially intact, except for a few changes to the ending. I don't know who came up with this, so if you posted the idea for this ride, please post here and give me permission to use it here. Again GREAT ride.
INDIANA JONES AND THE HUNT FOR QUETZELCOATL:
Isn't it time that indiana jones had his own ride in WDW? this is an original storyline Ideveloped that takes place inside a huge Mayan temple. You are touring the temple in a CTX jeep while INdy is searching fo an ancient treasure called the eye of Quetzelcoatl, the ancient Mayan serpent god. Unfortunately, stealing the eye awakens the serpent, and you're off on a wild, peril-wrought run through the temple as the serpent hunts your jeep. This will be a lot like the Disneyland one, but with a giant killer snake.
THE TIME MACHINE:
This is a dark ride based on what may be the best sci-fi story ever written. (note, this is not based on the Dreamworks movie, but rather on the original book, so no copyright problems) You board 6 person time machines and get sent back in time, shooting from the big bang, to the age of the dinosaurs, to a roman chariot race, to a WW2 battlefield, avoiding danger each time. Then you get sent into the future, where you encounter the Morlocks and Eloi, before making an unscheduled stop at the end of the world. While not a thrill ride per se, the action is more intense and the ride bumpier than anything you'd find at Fantasyland.
