Passes with days remaining question

My wife and I went to Disney in 2006 and had 10-day No Exp Park Hoppers. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, so obviously the tickets were put on our Keys to the World cards. We have 5 days left on each of those cards.

1) How do we use them if we are going to Disney, but not staying at a Disney Resort? Do we just swipe the cards at the gate, or do we have to turn them in and get updated ones?

2) We also each still have a complimentary Ultimate Park Hopper from our stay at the Wilderness Lodge in 2004 when Hurricane Jeanna hit and closed the parks for the day. These are also on plastic cards. How do we use these?

Thanks.

I used a no exp. 7 day pass from 2004 in March of this year. I still had 3 days left on the pass. The only way to check if it was good was to go to the ticket counter and have a cm check it. Mine was okay to still use.

You should be able to just put you KTTW card through the ticket reader but the plastic CC style cards are notorious for becoming demagnetized. Just to avoid the hassle and delay I would stop by guest service and confirm that they are OK. If there is a problem they can transfer them over to current medium.
