Party ticket questions

Can you purchase party tickets at concierge at your resort, or do you have to go to guest services at the parks? If you can't purchase them at the resort, can they at least tell you if tickets are still available?

For my next trip to WDW we won't be arriving until around 5 pm. I know that is kind of late, but we want to squeeze in as much park time as possible. I don't want to buy tickets ahead of time, just in case we are delayed. So I'm just trying to figure out what my options are, and what would be the quickest way to get tickets and get to the party, if that is what we decide to do.

Many party nights are sold out in advance, and Steve usually posts those dates in the News Feed once they're known. If you'll be there on a popular night, there's a good chance there won't be any available.

If they are available, I believe you can purchase them anywhere you can purchase park tickets, which includes your resort guest services....but I could be wrong. I've always purchased them in advance.

I will say that there has never been a shortage of tickets on the night of the party during our September trips.

We've actually purchased party tickets the day of on our previous trips in October. I do think it all depends on the date you want to go though.

If you purchase the day before or days before, you can usually save a few dollars.

You can buy party tickets at your resort.

You can buy them in your Disney hotel or at the parks. Most dates don't sell out, but you never know. I always wait until the day I'm going because I just won't go in the rain.

Ok, thanks! It is good to know I don't have to go to the Magic Kingdom and find out there if they still have tickets available. That will make things much simpler!
