Party Days

We are going down in December, one week off resort, 5 days on resort. I am picking Magic Kingdom reservations for are all party days, do other people think this is a good strategy? We have park hoppers so we will do a couple days on non party days in the evenings for fireworks at MK but it seems like to miss crowds it will be best to hit MK during the day on the Christmas party days.
Anyone have other thoughts? We are going from Dec 6th-18th.

It has been a good strategy in the past, especially if you can hop and see the fireworks on a non-party night.

Party days tend to put people off because of the shorter hours. Just be aware that party goers can usually enter the park up to 2 hrs early, so lines can start growing by then. So plan the headliners for earlier in the day.

On the 5 days we stay on resort we are staying at BLT so plan was to get out of there around 2 or 3 and rest with the kids and go wherever. The other day we are doing it is with family and figured on a Friday we would spend most of the day at MK and then go to Epcot or HS

Sure. Having the PH s you can get two parks in one day but the disadvantage is maybe missing out on some attractions . We rope drop and take advantage of hitting the most popular things before the craziness builds. Many people do avoid MK in the mornings on the event nights so you may find it advantageous.
