Wife and I will be moving to the orlando area. I want to work nights so i can stay home with my son during the day (and not pay the absurd amount for daycare)

Does disney have part time (or even full time) positions that dont begin scheduled work time until 6pm till whenever?

Thanks so much in advanced

The night custodial CMs dont start until after the park closes & work till the park opens.

I know some roles/locations work in the evening, but those are based on park hours, so when the parks close earlier, they start earlier so they can still get their hours in. I work in costuming & my hours can be all over the place (sometimes I work 6am-2pm, othertimes I work 7pm-3am, or anything in between, it really depends on park hours at the time.)

Night custodial always has positions that work until park opening. I also believe there are merchandise locations that have people that work through the night as well to restock items (larger places that close late).

I worked 12:00am to 8:00am custodial in the old Disney Inn when i first started many many moons ago. There is a whole slew of overnighters that work in the resorts from front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, resv. food service and so on.

I always find it interesting that most of the posts here involve front-line theme park positions. Interesting...

Yeah, plenty of evening jobs. For the money, a part-time server role is your best bet, and it's likely you could find a location that would need your availability, either resorts or catering/convention services. Convention Guides would work too, as would DRC Orlando/Tampa. You could also look into inventory control clerk positions, merchandise host/hostess, cruiseline reservations, DVC Member services, and LOTS of different resort operations roles (front desk, custodial, housekeeping, F&B seater/server, ect).

There are lots of options. What are you most interested in?
