Part Savannah View at Animal Kingdom Lodge

We are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge in November 2018 and we have a Pool View Room booked.

Does anyone know the room number for a part savannah view room? I know they have a couple of these on property and since we are paying a bit more for a Pool View I was going to put in a preferred room as a part savannah view.

There are a number of them. The easiest thing to do is call the reservation center and add "Savannah view" to your requests.

Ugh, can't remember the number. We had one, it was nice. Savannah view for the price of a standard view. Will look at pictures later, sometimes we take a pic of the girls in front of the door. Imagine if you will some of the corner rooms facing the Sunset Savannah. It's a partially obstructed view (the column intrudes a bit, but from your deck, it's fine.

You should have it noted on your reservation. So do any of the pool view rooms even have a Savanna view? I know some look out over the flamingos so I guess you could see the Savanna past that? I’m curious now. I’ve been given a. Savanna view when I booked a standard room but always given pool view when I booked a pool view room.

There might be a few that could see it, but not really well.

There are however a number of standard room that were originally classified as Savannah view, but were downgraded because it was a poor view. If you book a standard view and request Savannah view, this is most likely where you will be put if it is available. If memory serves me correctly, they are also close to the lobby so double bonus.

Hope for an upgrade we stayed there last September and had the same view booked you do and we were upgraded with no comments from the staff. They gave us our rooms numbers and there we were savanna view.

Regardless of your view you will most likely love AKL! It is such a special place unlike anywhere in the world. If you do get an actual pool view it is really a beautiful spot to be. Drink in the atmosphere and have a great trip. There are animal viewing spots all over the lodge so again, whichever view you get won’t be a bad one.

We got a pool view room for the cost of a standard room, due to there not being any standard view rooms left with our Holiday Agency. I am not fussed either way, but it's my partner's second time staying and he was disappointed last year since we did not get a refurbed room at CS (we did request one and I did tell him that you are never guaranteed to get a requested room).

AKL is a resort I've always wanted to stay at, so I will not be disappointed with a pool view room, considering that I got it for no extra cost. We've still got 220+ days to go and I have placed a request on the booking, but I would literally cry if we got upgraded to a savannah room. A dream come true.

I know I originally said that I paid a bit more for a pool view room but I spoke to the Holiday Agency and they confirmed that I am paying the same price for a standard room due to them not having any more standard view rooms left, and since they quoted me that price they wanted to still give me that rate. I am staying for 14 nights and for flights, hotel and park tickets we are paying around £4,600.00 (this is cheap for AKL as other sites were quoting me near enough £5,000.00 just for the room and flights.

I'm unsure of the pool view rooms and if they have savannah views. We've had great luck with standard view rooms and partial savanna views. I'd suggest that you use Touring Plans and their room request tool, which worked out great for us. We had 4318 back in 2016 and had an amazing view. This past January, we stayed in 4328, and it also had a great view.
