Part Cash/Part DVC

Our upcoming trip is split between using some DVC points (for 5 days) and cash reservation (for 6 days with dining plan). We are staying at OKW for the whole time in a 1bed apartment, hopefully not having to move midway.
Despite asking at the time of booking about getting the park tickets early so we could use them while on the DVC part of our trip, we have just received the confirmation of the cash reservation, and the tickets are just listed as an item to be added to our room key (like the dining plan).
Bearing in mind the 2 parts of our trip are officially seperate bookings, do you think we will be able to sort it out on arrival to activate the park tickets. The park tickets we have paid for are the 14 day ultimate tickets available for UK visitors, so they cover the length of the whole trip.

My understanding was that you could only claim the tickets 3 days early. Even if they are added to your room key, the concierge or front desk should be able to separate them back off onto a separate ticket. But since you will be arriving 5 days early, I'm not quite sure how that would be handled.

We checked in today. They have given us seperate tickets so we can get into the parks straight away. We can't have them on our KTTW until part2 of our trip when we activate the dining plan
