Not necessarily. In the mornings you’ll encounter long lines at the parking tollbooths. Then the slow line to park. Once parked you’ll need to either tram or walk to the front gate. Buses drop off closer to the main entrances of the parks. DHS parking lot is a MESS right now (construction) and I would choose riding the bus over driving my car.
Since you are at the Contemporary you have access to the monorail for Epcot (one transfer at the TTC.) Riding the monorail is an attraction in itself.
Using your car is convenient since you can leave the resort/theme park on your schedule, but it doesn’t always mean it will be faster.
