Parking?

Hello everyone! I'm planning on driving to Disney this Friday by myself for my first solo trip ever, and I'm super excited and plan to leave early so I can arrive around 9ish. I always hate paying for parking though (I'd only be staying a day so no use in paying for a hotel) and heard I can park at downtown Disney and take a bus to whichever park I wanted to start with, but will busses be running that early from downtown to say animal kingdom?

Not sure what time busses start running at DTD but I would assume its when most of the stores open which generally is around 10am.

Not sure if anyone knows the exact answer but I do believe The Boardwalk has free parking, which if that is the case, you can always park there and walk over to one if the surrounding hotels and take the bus from there?!?

Unless this is new, they do not run busses between DTD and the 4 major parks. I remember a while back test being done with a bus between AK and DTD but that is all I have heard. If that is still going on, I would not expect it until later in the afternoon or evening.

Like @figmentfan423 said, just park in the parking lot where you are supposed to. It sounds like you plan to park hop so plan you parking carefully if you plan on using Disney transport for your transportation between parks. For example, I would not park @ AK in the morning and hop around and finish up @ MK @ 10:00 PM because you will have a problem getting a bus back to AK since it closed 4 hours earlier and there are no busses.

Remember that you only have to pay for parking once per day. so if you move between parks, make sure you have your receipt and you will not have to pay to park at another parking lot.
