Parking Questions for Resort Guest/Non-guest

Hello all,

I have a specific question in regards to my staying situation. I will be staying for my first 2 nights at a Disney resort and my last 2 nights at an offsite resort (we have free nights to use). My question is in regards to parking and extra magical hours.

1. I understand I will have free parking at the parks for the first 2 nights as a Disney guest. However, can I still park for free the second two nights with the same parking pass or magic band? I.E do they put an expiration date on the parking pass or scan the magic band at the parking booth as I will have 4 day tickets to parks?

2. Will I still be able to access the extra hours on the second 2 days as I will still have my magic band or room key card? I.E. do they scan the magic band to confirm?

Your parking pass is good until midnight on the day you check out of your resort. You cannot park for free on your second day off site. Printed parking passes are dated. MBs, when scanned, tell the CM if you have a valid resort stay.

Your EMH privileges extend until midnight on your checkout day. MBs are scanned at the park entrances for EMH mornings, and at every attraction entrance for EMH evenings. Only guests with valid resort reservations are allowed entry.

OP - I have done something similar. After your check out day, your magicband will not reflect those onsite privileges. Years ago, when magicbands were a new thing, some of the parking people would waive you in just because they saw your magicband. Not so anymore.

Your MB will work for free parking the entire day you checkout. It will not work for free parking after that day. You will also lose EMH the day after you checkout.
