Parking for Dining at Boardwalk

I have reservations for Kouzzina upcoming for a Saturday night. I will be staying at OKW and driving to the BoardWalk Resort.

I know the parking is usually very limited through the main gate. I've heard there is another self-parking lot but I thought the one across the street was gated and for cast. Can anyone tell me how that works if that's the alternate lot?

If the regular self-park lot at Boardwalk is full, the security guard will direct you across the street to the overflow lot, which yes, is normally for Cast, but the gates are left raised if they need to have Guests parking there.
