Park Tickets Linking Problem

Hello everyone! Long time reader, but haven't posted in quite a while. I hope this is in the right area, so I apologize if not.
I have a question on multiple tickets on my magic band. I have researched this site and online, but haven't found much that helps. Hoping you can help! Here is the issue:
My wife and I each have a 10 day pass no exp. with 7 days remaining on them (already attached to our MDE account). However, the next 12 months we have some amazing plans! I have a work function for a week in May at the Contemporary (only 3.5 days are work), we're running the Wine and Dine in November (another week), then we have a 14 day family (10 people) adventure in feb. 2016. I thought it would be smart to buy an annual pass for us which would be activated in May. Then we would save the No Exp. ticket for a year that we only go for a week or less.
So a week ago I bought the annual pass and connected the certificate # to our MDE account. Now on my account it shows 10 day park hopper no exp. and under those it has the two annual passes. How do I know they won't take a day off my 10 Day instead of using our annual pass?
The few things I found online did not give me confidence. It was mostly about people being told that Disney will use the last ticket connected to the account but it doesn't and they have to fight disney for the days they lost on the other ticket. Also, in my MDE account it will not let me reauthorize or remove a ticket. I will eventually call Disney but I was hoping maybe you could help. Thanks a million!

You would be best off calling Disney and asking them this question. If I were you, since you have hard copies of your 10 day park hopper tickets, you could have them unlink those tickets, provided they can re-link them later. But someone at Disney from MM+ will be able to give you a more definitive answer than strangers on the internet.
