Hi All!
My vacation travel group of 6 (my immediate family of 4 plus 2 grandparents) will be visiting wdw for a week this coming July. Last time we were at wdw was 2018 (yes the good ol' days ) and so the new park reservations system and time constraints on park hopping are all new to us. We are staying at yacht club so park hopping is a BIG DEAL for us! We are spontaneous people and often split up to hit park of choice or resort time depending on energy level etc. (especially towards end of the week). As I'm the unofficial "organizer" of the group, these new requirements put a ton of extra responsibility on planning ahead which I'll be honest I do not like. But regardless I realize we're going to have to deal with it just like everyone else. So my questions for anyone able to answer are how difficult or easily can you make reservations to parks during your stay? If you have a reservation for a particular park, but only some of your travel party chooses to go and some stays at the resort, do those individuals (who chose to stay at resort) still have to get to that park before park hopping later in the day? Seems kinda silly if we had a park reservation for animal kingdom but spontaneously choose to stay at resort but still have to travel to AK before walking over to Epcot! Any tips, tricks, and advice on keeping things "on-the-fly" are greatly appreciated!!
