Park planning for a week

Hi all,

Arriving from Europe in late October for one week in wdw.
Arriving Saturday mid afternoon, leaving following Saturday in the evening. Family of 4, 2 boys ages 7&9.

I was thinking something like:

Sat evening - spend in mk until close
Sunday - full day mk
Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday - one full day each in Epcot/ak/Dhs
Thursday - one of the wdw water parks - possibly go to another wdw park in evening after drying out!
Friday - one day outside of wdw, possibly returning to one of the wdw parks for evening until close.
Saturday am/early pm - mk again, before heading off to airport.

Do you think something like is feasible to get the most out of the trip? I will pre-book fastpasses where I can too for each main park (60 days out).

Thanks!

Yes
For late October your Sunday plans will need to be altered unless you want to purchase Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets. The parks will close to normal day guests at 6pm.

You don't need any time to recover from jet lag? You really should consider one day, or at least a half a day, in the middle of the week to just relax at your resort and rest up to survive the rest of the week. Good luck!

So you think I’m cramming in too much?
Jet lag - we could take it easier on the first night, or lie in on the first Sunday morning and arrive at mk later in morning?

Halloween - we will be there from 19 to 26th, won't we miss most of the Halloween disruption?

Sat evening - spend in mk until close
Sunday - full day mk
Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday - one full day each in Epcot/ak/Dhs

Saturday am/early pm - mk again, before heading off to airport.

Sat evening: MK and FP for evening (not sure what time you are arriving)
Sunday: AK - EMH in the morning. I am guessing on day one with time change you will probably be up and awake anyway. You can make it an early night if you need to.
Monday: Epcot
Tuesday: sleep in morning, MK in the afternoon OR Water Park/Disney Springs - have it be a recharge day!
Wednesday: Full day at MK (no MNSSHP)
Thursday: HS
Friday: Relaxing 1/2 of the day (sleep in?, character breakfast? outlet shopping, pool day at resort?) and then AK/HS/OR Epcot - MK has MNSSHP
Saturday: MK before you leave for airport

That is personally what I would do - I am sure others have a better plan than me!

Thank you! Any more ideas from anyone?

Bear in mind I am coming from afar, so I know there will be tiredness (and a 5 hour time diff to adjust to ) but WDW is like something we MAY never do again for a very long time (if ever), so want to get the most out of the week.

Was hoping to do a day at Universal, but maybe that would be too much and best kept for a totally separate trip? Do people generally agree?

I prefer to avoid MK on weekends, it’s always very crowded, I try to schedule that during the week.

I strongly suggest rope dropping at least a few times during the week (getting there before opening so you can get in quickly and be ahead of the crowds). You can get a few more rides in before the park gets busy.

Consider taking an afternoon off and enjoying your resort pool and cafeteria.
