Park Pass Question

Good afternoon folks! I have a question about the park pass system. My family of 3 are scheduled to head to WDW 4-15-4-20. I have all the park passes reserved for those days, however when I went in and tried to schedule park days for our July trip (1-8) it wouldn't allow me. I am new to the park pass system, forgive me if this has been covered. Are there limits to how many or how far out in advance you can book your park reservations? Full disclosure, all 3 of us are annual pass holders w/no blackout dates.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

When do your passes expire?

ETA - do you have a resort reservation already for the July trip?

Are you staying on site for your visits? If so, you can book your park passes under the "AP with Resort Stay" category.

If you are offsite, you are limited to 5 days of park reservations at a time. Once you use one, you can book another.

yes, sorry. I am off site for the April trip, onsite for the July trip. Can I use the "AP with resort stay" for the July trip?

You should be able to, though since you are off-site for the April trip, it may think you have no available reservations left. The system isn't always perfect.

For the on-site stay, you should select the Annual Passholders with a Disney Resort or other Select Hotel Stay option.
When I go in to make the park reservation for the July trip it only shows me in the "party" even though my wife and son are on my account. How can I make park pass reservations for all 3 for July?

Are their any limits on the amount of park reservations you can make or how far out you can make them?

As long as you don’t hit your offsite AP maximum of 5, you can make park passes as far out as your AP expiration date.

Technically, yes, there are limits. The top 2 passes - Sorcerer's and Incredi-Pass allow you to have 5 active reservations as an AP holder. But I had thought that if you have a resort reservation, then it would allow you to make one for every day of your stay. My DW and I are also AP holders and made reservations for all 9 days of our upcoming stay. The only issue is if your pass expires at some point. It won't let you make a reservation pass that date until you renew. Ours currently expire in September, and it won't allow us to make reservations for our October trip. We haven't even activated the pass yet, and once we do, that expiration date will move to next March, so we'll be able to make those reservations at that time.
