Park Hours

Does anyone have any idea when they might post the hours for May? Why do they wait so long to post them? We will be there the first week of May and it would be much easier to plan an itinerary. Thanks

they only just recently posted April's I think Mays are still up in the air but they should be posted by the end of the march maybe the first week of April you just have to keep checking .. I know its a pain when you want to plan details

it's so slow now because I'd imagine every month they argue between whether or not to extend hours back to where they were before September 11th (AK 8-5 or 8-6, Epcot 9-9)--I think by summer hours will be back to normal...but, I fear now that disney has discovered that people are okay with the shortened hours (there was no shortage of guests the week I was there), they may drop to those hours during the off-season...

From what i know is that disney always used to post park hours 3 months in advance.What happend to that? I understand about the effect 9/11 had on the park-but disney needs to realize that hundreds of thousands of families are trying to plan their vacations.U can't depend on last years operating hours to judge this years hours!

I got the same message back from Disney. It was a waste of time to write to them. Oh well.

It's been my experience that even the posted hours are subject to change. We go in May every year and every year the MK has extended hours over what was published. I think it's determined by the number of resort guests they have at the time. Perhaps since 9/11, more folks have been taking advantage of the great off-site deals and cannot be factored into the hours equation...
