Park hours expiration with one day park hopper??

We always stay on grounds for at least a week. We spontaneously will be in the area for a couple days and I wanted to take in the Christmas ambiance, but could only get a reasonable rate at Dolphin...felt the location would allow better access all around. I am purchasing a one day hopper but now am concerned on what defines one day. I checked the park hours for December 28 which is super late for most of the parks, but if we want to leave one park for another and it's after midnight will the ticket expire....or is it good until the park closes officially that night?? And does Disney Dolphin...which it's not officially, but still called that...honor early and late hours if we are staying there??

For parks, a day ends when the park closes. If more than one park is open until 1am, you can still hop between them until they close. At 1am, the day is over.
