We are planning on booking from October 19-25 and looking at Pop. We have always stayed at the All Stars but are thinking Pop might be better. What is the hotel/park traffic for that time of the year? Thanks.
Was there from the 23-26 last year and the crowds were very manageable. It's one of the slower times. You have MNSSH and I don't know how the event is as it approaches Halloween but outside of that it won't be too bad.
From October 19th to the 25th the crowd sizes are good. The lower attendance days on your trip will be the 22nd to the 24th. Overall, you will face either average or slightly below average crowd sizes. It's good that you will be avoiding Columbus Day Weekend that is on the 11th, 12th, and 13th.
Even though I haven't stayed at the Pop and have stayed at All Stars a couple of times, the Pop is considered better. The layout of Pop is considered to be very good. The All-Stars are a little more difficult to traverse with winding walkways and signage that’s less clear. Walks to the main building and bus stop tend to be longer from the average room, to the point where some All-Star rooms are actually closer to the main buildings of neighboring resorts. Also while you are there, the All Star Sports Food Court will be closed. Thus guests of the All Star Sports resort will have to go to the All Star Music resort to get food.
