Park Hopping Question

Hi all,

Were going to be in the parks for 4 days, but only want to park hop 1 of those days. Can we buy a 5 day pass and use it to go to two parks in one day? I assume this is a lot cheaper then adding park hopper to the ticket?

Thanks for the help!!

No, unfortunately, the only way to hop is with the parkhopper option, which covers the entire length of your ticket allowance.

You could always save your hopping day for the last day and then BEFORE you use that last day, upgrade it to a hopper. Then you will only have to pay for one Hopper day and not the length of the entire ticket. But this has to be done Before you use that last day.

I do not think this will work. As I understand it the lower price park hopping option only applies to a one day ticket. Once the ticket is a multi-day ticket, the lower price park hopping an not be added regardless of how many days are left.

The upgrade will cost the same - about $50 per ticket I believe.

Right, the hopper price is the same regardless of how many days you have on your ticket.

There is a new lower cost park hopping option that was added roughly a year ago for 1 day tickets only. Park hopping is $37.28 for a one day ticket and $60.71 for a multi-day ticket. They also revised the water park option pricing as well. By itself the water park option is still $60.71, but if you get both park hopping and water park the total is only $84.14.

But will that work in this scenario where they have a multi-day and just upgrade on the last day? I was under the impression they'd still pay the multi-day price.

Pfffft, I should read your whole post, not just where I was quoted.
Nothing to see here ;)

So we would still have to pay the full 4 day hopper price, even if we add it on after using 3 days?
And just to add some additional clarification, the 2 day ticket to 10 ticket day price is $60.71 per ticket not per day, just one flat fee regardless of the number of days. The one day lower fee is only for a one day ticket. A four day ticket with 1 day left is still a four day ticket and hopping is charged at the multiday rate of $60.71

Thanks for all the info! Guess well have to choose between 2 days at MK or 1 day at AK
