Park hoppin' on EMH nights?

I hope that I can ask this question clearly.
Here goes.....


Can you leave one park at regualr closing time and then go to the park that has EMH at nite?

For example, if MGM closes at 9 pm but EPCOT is open until 12 MN can I leave MGM at 9 and then enter EPCOT at 9:30 PM for EMH even if the official closing time is also 9?

And one more question, if you don't mind........how crowded is TL in August? Can you actually ride the slides or is it mostly standing in line? How 'bout the surf pool? Jammed packed or can you actually catch a wave? In other words, is it worth it or is swimming at the hotel pool more refreshing and relaxing?

I can answer the first question. As long as you have Park hopper tickets you can do that. You just get your wristband when you enter the park with EMH.

We usually go in July or August and the water parks are packed, usually at capacity (and closed ) around 10 am. It thins out again around 2 pm.

The park hopper option costs more, but its worth it IMHO. We usually spend the morning in one park and the evening in another. Also good if you want to try different restaurants, that way you can work the ADR's to what is available.

Yes, you can enter an evening EMH park after the general public closing time. If it's your second park of the day, you'll need to have the park hopper option on your tickets.
